The zoo is a great place to spend learning, or even to host a birthday party.
Located in Chugach State Park, one of the most popular outdoor attractions for more visitors to Anchorage is Flattop Mountain. Although it appears to be a typical mountain from down below, Flattop Mountain earns its namesake from having a rounded summit. As a result, this is the most climbed mountain in the entire state, being a popular destination for campers, hikers, nature enthusiasts, and more. Although challenging, the mountain offers visitors a well-kept trail of just 1.5 miles. This is ideal for seasoned hikers, as well as those simply trying to see some of the best views in the state.
